A painting inspired by spring road trips, lucky finds, and those random beautiful moments that feel too good to be real.

In Clover was inspired by a girls’ trip to San Diego during cherry blossom season, where every stop somehow felt cinematic — pink blossoms overhead, flower fields stretching forever and bright California skies. The tiny four-leaf clover tucked into the corner feels like a little souvenir from this season of life.

Painted in oil with thick impressionistic brushstrokes, this piece combines soft cherry blossoms with bold electric stripes in bright aqua and chartreuse green. I wanted it to feel playful, nostalgic, slightly chaotic, and impossibly alive — like spring finally arriving after a long winter.

There’s something about this painting that reminds me to remain young at heart, and to keep believing lucky things can happen to you at any moment.
